I sat down with three experts in the field to discuss what makes swimwear sustainable and how shoppers can make informed choices.

First, we spoke with Anna Santangelo, founder of luxury sustainable swimwear brand Evarae. She explained that using eco-friendly materials like recycled nylon or Econyl (a regenerated nylon made from fishing nets and other waste) is key to reducing environmental impact. Finally, we chatted with Emily Jones, founder of ethical swimwear brand Liar The Label. She highlighted the importance of transparency in production processes and supply chains – knowing where your clothes come from is crucial for making sure they’re ethically made.
